Our History
Barkley Company is owned by the Talbot family whose roots in the Bellingham business community go back to 1941. Like you, we love this town and have a vested interest in its health and prosperity.
Barkley Village is our family’s answer to the very real questions facing us as a community today. How can we help mitigate urban sprawl? How can we reduce carbon emissions? Is there a way to incorporate civic responsibility and environmental well-being into a business plan? Can we bring people together in authentic ways that elevate their quality of life?
